NBL Press Release (September, 30th 2009)
The Northeast Regional that was canceled at Camp Woodward on September 26th has now been rescheduled for October 31st at Shoreham BMX in Long Island, New York. The Northeast Regional Championship will be run in conjunction with the 2010 Regional Qualifiers already scheduled.
All riders currently registered for the Northeast Regional Championship will have their registration transferred to the Shoreham event. Post registration will be open at the event for riders that have not registered for the 2009 Regional Championship previously, however there will be no online or pre-registration prior to the reschedule date. Any riders that are unable to attend the Shoreham event may request a refund of their Regional Championship registration by October 26 through the NBL Office (614-777-1625) or email Angel Dorr at adorr@nbl.org.
Age and proficiency classes will be frozen as of the original Northeast Regional Championship date (September 26th, 2009). For the 2010 Regional qualifiers, riders will race their age and proficiency as of the date of the race. With the anticipated changes in rider registration, the NBL will hand out the Regional Plates at the race but the final rankings will be mailed to all riders.
